Seedhouse Creative is a full-service graphic design and marketing agency located in Waco, Texas. They work with several clients, with my work focusing primarily on the Waco Symphony Orchestra, the Mayborn Museum, JRBT and others. As their Public Relations Intern, I managed a wide variety of tasks, including media relations, content creation, market research and event support. I drafted, edited and sent news releases to 30+ media correspondents, following up with interested parties to coordinate interviews and answer questions. Working with the Waco Symphony, I created a series of social media posts targeting students to increase student attendance at Symphony performances. These posts stay within brand guidelines and voice to match the rest of the Symphony's social media while still being applicable to students. During my time at Seedhouse I also completed initial market research to both assist in the pitching process for new clients and analyze past marketing campaigns to inform future strategies. I also assisted with organizational and promotional tasks that included creating detailed spreadsheets to track advertising budgets and community sponsorships for the Waco Symphony and JRBT, respectively.
