As opposed to the first news release, this assignment is written with parents of high school seniors in mind as they begin their college search. In this news release, you'll find my personal experience choosing a school, and subtly encourage parents to look into Baylor as an option for their student.

This assignment features original content created for Instagram to highlight the brand Saint Olio's 2023 Better Homes and Gardens win. The content created is based on an analysis of Saint Olio's social media and demographic research that is included after the content page. 

Fact Sheet and Media Advisory

This project is an example of a media advisory for the made-up event "Welcome Back Birds 2k" to celebrate National Bird Feeding month. Along with the media advisory, there is also a fact sheet in the form of an infographic to encourage viewers to get outside and visit the beautiful Waco parks. 

Email and Business Letter

This assignment is a professional business letter and email written from the perspective of a Yes! Expo recruiter. As a recruiter, the letter and email reach out to a Waco high school, encouraging the career coordinator to register their students up to attend the Yes! Expo. 

Speech Plan and Writing

This project features the 2024 solar eclipse as an example of a speech plan for the NASA Eclipse Event hosted at Southern Illinois University. You'll find a run of show, talking points for the invited speaker, Matt Damon, and a promotion schedule for the event.
